Pioneer PL-L800

Soon to be posted is a very nice Pioneer PL-L800 linear tracking turntable.  The little brother of the PL-L1000 linear tracker.  Excellent turntable and was know to have less inner grove distortion than regular turntables with pivot arm.

Christmas is Coming!

A big thank you to everyone!  It's been a busy weekday and gear has been flying out the door!  But, we still have gear!  So, if you're looking for a last minute gift send us an email!

Technics SA-400 Receiver!

Just got word of a new post!  Technics SA-400, which can be viewed on our Kijiji ad.  Great looking unit.  Technics made some great receivers/amplifiers but were never in the same spotlight as other Japanese makers.  So, much of their stuff goes under the radar.  Great unit for a great price!

Yamaha YP-450, it's alive!

Finally, we have this beaut of a turntable up and running!  New belt, new headshell leads, serviced and comes with original headshell.  Heavy duty unit, heavy platter and plinth, probably one of the heaviest I have seen for quite some time!  Beautiful walnut veneer plinth.  Only real flaw was the original dustcover that came with the unit was damaged.  I've super-glued it and seems to be holding up.  Doesn't look pretty from the back, but highly functional!  Pictures will be added later!

More Gear On the Way!

We have more gear on the way! Right now we have a nice Pioneer PL-730, Sansui AU-555, Hitachi SR-1900, JBL L-26, Fisher RS-1058, the ever so lovely HK630 and completely esoteric Onkyo Model 20 still available! Talking to the guys, some new gear and possibly packages will be available!  Christmas is just around the corner!

Pioneer PL-730 is up and running!

The successor of the Pioneer PL-7 but instead of the cheesy gold body, it's black and no quartz lock!  Still uses the same extremely nice tonearm.  Direct drive and fully automatic to boot!  Features an Empire OP-120 cartridge.  Looks and sounds very nice.  But!  Black is so hard to keep it clean...dust magnet!

A Big Thanks to Everyone!

We appreciate all the people we've met since we established this group!  We all hope they'll (the gear) will serve you well in your musical journey!  We still have some gear left but, many are awaiting servicing. Please stay tuned while we try to get more active on our blog.  In the mean time, please view our ads on either Kijiji or Usedwinnipeg.com  We'll try to post on our blogs first prior listing them for sale.  As well, it will give us time to practice our photography skills!
